The advancing deterioration is evident throughout. Pigeons are the new inmates, and the crumbling structure is losing it’s battle against rain, rot and dereliction.

I moved here from the valleys some 23 years ago to start my nurse training at the now closed Mid Wales hosp.I only intended to stay for 3 years but I am still here, Talgarth has a kind of slow easy way of life not the hussle and bussle of a big town, children although bored at times appear happy and safe here.I personally wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
